Job Title: PARTS/TECH SUPPORT ADVISOR
Department: Parts and Service (Product Support)
Reports to: Parts Manager and Service Manager
Job Function:
Increase Parts Department retail sales and profitability.
Overlook and assist with all daily functions and technicians on the service floor. Along with Service Management, coordinate activities in order to increase technician efficiency. Ensure customer satisfaction; ensure maximum profitability for dealership. Sell WarDale Equipment labour, parts and wholegoods service 100% of the time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Determine parts requirements by parts look up in Support Pro 2 for Case Ih parts and other means depending on Vendor.
- Fill parts orders directly to each Technician.
- Order all required parts for Service Work Orders.
- Correctly invoice parts by sales codes and job codes, etc to Work Orders.
- Perform Shipper, Receiver duties to ensure Service Tech’s ordered parts are available efficiently.
- Provide parts counter sales to retail customers as time permits.
- Promote new O.E.M parts value to customer and Technician.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of parts displays.
- Perform parts warehousing duties including binning and locating parts, as well as house keeping.
- Assist with parts transfers to and from Preeceville and Yorkton.
- Assist with all types of parts orders, ordering and directing to help cover vacation, weekends etc. of fellow parts personnel.
- Ensure accuracy and report inventory discrepancies to Parts Manager.
- Assist in Parts Physical Inventories preparation and actual count.
- Perform end of day procedures when necessary.
- Perform all other regular parts position duties too numerous to individually list.
- To work along with Service Management to increase shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Make sure technicians working as efficiently as possible, example parts ordered before cutoff, if present job ending has equipment in place for work next day.
- Assist technicians with troubleshooting on equipment, including use of assist and support pro.
- Assist technician to make decision as to whether parts should be replaced, repaired or reused in order to complete job. Advise Service Manager on decision made.
- Oversee and Train Apprentice Technicians, advise Management on Technician abilities and training that may be needed.
- When technician’s job is completed, check to make sure repair is done correctly, check to ensure all aspects of equipment functioning and operating properly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure new or reconditioned equipment is ready to go after technician’s work is completed on unit.
- Maintain a clean and orderly safe shop, make sure all tools and equipment are in working order, advise Service Management of needed scrap, oil or battery disposal or safety issues.
- Along with Service Manager enforce and ensure WarDale’s policies and procedures are followed by our Service Staff.
- Along with Service Management control expenses of service department, promote avoiding waste in service department.
- Communication with customers providing technical information and selling of WarDale Equipment parts and service.
- Communicate with Service Management of potential future jobs and log accordingly.
- Be able to process Work Orders and bill our Work Order when needed.
- Fill in for Service Manager when needed.
- Ensure parts available for all upcoming repairs.
- Advise management of any employee or customer issues pertaining to WarDale Equipment.
- Along with Service and Parts Managers maintain all Service and Parts warranty parts and dispose of as per Warranty Clerk.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Parts Manager and Service Manager.
- May be required to work extended hours.
Shipper Receiver
WarDale Equipment (1998) Ltd, your Case IH Dealer in the Parkland is looking to fill an exciting position as a Shipper/Receiver/Runner.
Main Duties Include:
Putting away stock orders
Putting away daily order
Conducting Parts core returns
Down town run for technicians
Responsible for Store Transfers to Langenburg – Preeceville WarDale Locations
Assist with house cleaning
All aspect of dealership Warehousing.
Responsible for outgoing and incoming Freight as well as Tracking Issues
Must have computer skills
Reports to Parts manager
Must assist Parts Counter People (Picking Orders)
Must be able to operate a forklift
Pay scale: $10.00-$13.00 (must be flexible to work weekends and o/t if needed)
Hours per week will vary. Could be Part-Time/Full-Time.

Service Technician
Established in 1984 as a proud part of the
agriculture community, Wardale Equipment (1998) Ltd. is seeking up to 7
Service Technicians in three of their growing locations. Positions are
available in Langenburg (2) Preeceville (2) and Yorkton (3).
Successful candidates will be required to perform a wide range of duties
related to mechanical repair and maintenance of all types of equipment brought
into the service shop in the most efficient way possible to ensure customer
satisfaction and maximum profitability for the dealership. Duties also
include, sell equipment labour, parts and whole goods service 100% of the
time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment brought into the service
shop and determine best solution of repair.
- Prepare all types of new and used equipment for sale or resale.
- Work along with Service Management to increase shop efficiency and customer
satisfaction.
- Arrange work schedule along with Service Management and advise Service
Management in advance when change of schedule needed or work needed.
- Ensure work is performed correctly the first time to prevent repeat failure
and comebacks.
- Ensure proper work order maintenance. Punch in and out on correct work order
and job, ensure jobs are added to work order when needed and OK’d by Service
Management, ensure parts are billed to correct work order and job, ensure work
order job description is filled out as per Service Management, document all
items such as Freon, nitrogen and dyno use etc. so they can be billed out on
work order, ensure work order is handed in as soon as work completed.
- Work closely with Parts Department to ensure correct parts are acquired and
ordered for upcoming jobs.
- Keep updated on all types and changes to dealership’s equipment line; attend
necessary training to keep updated on equipment and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly safe shop; make sure all tools and equipment
are in a safe and working order, advise Service Management of any safety
issues.
- Maintain all tools and equipment; ensure all tools are in designated areas,
advise Service Management of any needed tools or equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles; advise Service Management when
maintenance or repairs needed on company vehicles.
- Dress in a professional manner.
WOW Factors Include:
*Tech Wages are approximately $19.12 to $34.08 per hour dependent upon Billing efficiency plus experience.
*We offer 40 WE hours per year (hours for personal time/appointments/sick days.)
*There is an incentive bonus of $.10 per hr of service; Certified Tech/Master Tech program can add up to $1.25 per hr to Tech's wage.

Work hours are
Monday to Friday
8am-5pm
with longer hours in peak season.
Experience in agriculture, automotive, or heavy duty fields is required.
Our client also has a program to train field apprentices in order to obtain
Journeyman status. Wage top ups are available while in school for this
program.
